Kemal Yazici is a German-Turkish artist who was born in Turkey in 1965. After completing his metal construction education in Germany, he studied architecture. His enthusiasm for abstract art started when he was 17. However, the technical development for painting only began during his architecture studies with Prof. Henner Hermanns. Today he lives and works in Dubai, Bodrum and Düsseldorf.
His works are mainly created by using squeegees, construction tools and metal tools. His professional knowledge of handicraft and architecture combined with creativity form the foundations for his passion for abstract painting. Kemal Yazici is a self-taught artist who is inspired by great artists such as marc Rothko claude monet and especially Gerhard Richter.
As a great lover of travel and architecture, he draws his ideas from a large collection of impressions. Therefore, his abstract paintings are the result of a collection of emotions through encounters with shapes, colors and materials. The basic technique of his acrylic and oil painting is created by layers of colors. Every work of art is an open experiment, where the viewer can discover colors and shapes from nature, abstract architecture, people and everyday things.
